27' Catalina Sailboat in Parksville, British Columbia for sale

This 1972 Catalina Sailboat is in overall good condition. Presently moored at beautiful Schooner Cove Marina in Nanoose, in an awesome slip with assumable moorage. Sleeps 6.

I have owned this boat for just over a year, and have found I don't have the time to really enjoy and maintain her. She is very roomy with just over 6' standing headroom, easy to sail and very solid. The bottom was scrubbed last spring, so will need to be done again and was hauled out and painted two summers ago, and should be good for at least another year. There are lots of extras I will be throwing in, including 2 newer life jackets, a med. size dog life jacket, tools, lots of lines and bumpers, etc. This is would make a fantastic live aboard for one person, or a comfy coastal cruiser for a family. These boats are well sought after, due to their fantastic reputation and availability of replacement parts through Catalina Direct in California. The window seals on the port side will need to be replaced, as they were leaking (duct tape has solved the problem temporarily), but this was the only place I've ever found leaking. The motor has been maintained and serviced professionally each season and is in perfect running condition.
