This was the last year for the G body rear wheel drive Montes and this vehicle has been maintained extremely well. Most of the convenience options available were included in this build as well as T-Tops.
This is a rust free vehicle with original power-train and is currently Collector plated. Paint is in great condition. Doors and all internals, fenders and bumpers, all glass, all trim, body striping is in excellent condition. All weather-stripping is new including the seals for the T-Tops. Suspension, brakes and front end components are new. All engine seals were replaced and there are no leaks. Transmission was rebuilt. Motor and transmission are factory stock. The stainless steel dual exhaust is new and so are the BF Goodrich Performance Tires.
The performance of this Monte SS is brisk as it is factory equipped with the 5L HO engine, factory hi-stall torque converter in the transmission and factory 3.73 gears. It goes down the road straight. Doors close with a positive thump. All convenience options including the recently recharged and serviced AC are fully functional. Car is equipped with an original radio. First Place Trophy winner for 1981 and Newer at a recent 2018 car show. Located in Parksville, British Columbia.
