I built this jeep up when I was just out of high school and drove it for a couple years. Then kids came along, and a house, and it's now sat in my garage for the last 10 years. It's time for a new home.
Was running when parked but now we can't get spark, turns over fine, has good compression, only about 15,000km on the new motor, something up with the ignition system. I just don't have the time to give it the attention it needs.
The Good:
Rebuilt AMC 360. Cords Key-2 Rebuilt it. Have all receipts.
T-15 3 speed with Dana 20 transfer case. (new clutch 10 years ago)
Centech wiring hiring harness with upgraded blade style fuses.
Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb.
Headers with flowmaster SUV mufflers, sounds great.
Newish radiator (10 years old but new when I parked it)
Aurora Ignition system (similar to MSD but Canadian made)
Besttop soft-top in good shape aside from a small crack in back window.
Superlift 2.5" susp. lift with 1.5" warrior grease shackles for total of 4" susp lift.
35 x 12.50 BFG M/T's with 60% tread. American Eagle Chrome Rims.
4.10 gears in rebuilt dana 44 rear-end. Work done at Sidney Transmission.
Stainless steel dash.
6 point roll cage (not tied to frame)
New speedo unit (10 years old)
Heim joint clutch linkage (better than factory)
Bus heater
Power steering (swapped from another 75 CJ-5)
Tub is in pretty decent shape considering the year (replaced a lot of sheet metal)
A blast to drive on a warm summer day with the top off.

The Bad:
This is not a show Jeep, she's rough around the edges.
Nut running at the moment, no spark.
Rims could use a good polish.
Brakes need to be bled and possibly replaced (drums all 4 wheels).
Some of the gauges don't work.
I painted it myself 12 years ago, could be done again.
Windshield frame is rough, have spare.
Front Dana 30 has 3.73 gears I never did change them to match the rear, have brand new set of 4.10 gears for it.
Various small issues someone might want to fix.
Pretty firm on $6000. Not interested in trades or low ball offers, don't need to sell. It can sit in the garage for another 20 years. I enjoy looking at it once in a while.
